“I always knew Meredith was the one for me. From the first time I laid eyes on her. She was so beautiful!”

Meredith and Travis met in college when they lived across the street from each other. Travis always had a thing for her from the first time they met. As much as he wanted to (or should have), a fully committed relationship wasn’t in the cards at the time. Over the years, there were a few relationships, but none of them ever really compared to Meredith.

“She could be considered the white unicorn and I used to compare them to her, but they never made the cut.”

They always managed to stay in contact over the years, and one day they reunited over dinner and a drink. From that point forward they both knew the spark was there even more than ever. They rekindled their relationship and the love grew! He says, “She was always in my heart and in the back of my mind!”

Hearing Meredith talk about Travis is enough to make any girl swoon and long for what they have! “He is just so kind and just a GOOD man.” He is always there for my boys and treats them as if they were his own.”

Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous. Our first time getting to shoot a Lyons Farmette wedding, we were in LOVE at first sight! The grounds are stunning, and the LIGHT that comes through the trees is enough to make any photographer have hearts in their eyes. To say we were ready to move in would be an under-statement! The staff on site was fantastic to work with – the fun furniture and details around – it’s an actual working farm – the lushness and the flowers everywhere – and of course the animals! Our team was lucky enough to meet the new baby, a sweet little alpaca! Of course, the vintage pick up trucks that seem to stand guard over the venue were our favorite touch and we couldn’t get enough…

Brittany from Prive Events was especially impressive!

She was so chill and easy to work with… she not only did the flowers (which were soooo pretty), but she provided a bunch of props for the wedding that she already had! Meredith loved this because it made it so much easier on her to not have to go out and find/buy these items. Check out the cute guest book set up in the back of the Chevy pickup!

A really cool and unique element that Meredith and Travis incorporated for their “easy-going-backyard-feeling” was the Simply Pizza food truck. This thing was impressive! “Kate” is a 2002 International cab chassis that began as a simple, plain, white and black platform that gladly accepted a 20′ transatlantic shipping container to provide a canvas for the largest, most unique food truck in Colorado.” Co-owner Ty, spent over 1500 hours taking the unusual combination of truck and container and building this unique pizza factory work of art that captures the attention of all with her sheer presence. Kim Armstrong is the proud owner and co-pizza perfectionist of Simply Pizza Truck, which serves Neapolitan inspired wood fired pizza made with only the finest ingredients from family inspired recipes.” Basically, it’s frickin delicious…
