Brionne & Michael’s wedding at The Barn at Racoon Creek was anything but cheesy…
Every now and then, someone comes into my life who impresses me. For me, this is Brionne. She is incredibly creative, talented, and crafty, and I love that! Her style is rad and I admire her in so many ways. We have been friends for a handful of years and she always “got the looks that kill”…
I can’t tell you how excited I was when I found out she got engaged to Michael and they wanted me to shoot their wedding! She was going for something “Rustic but not played-out or cheesy, and it had to have a rock-n-roll vibe to it”…um, yes please!
This entire wedding was designed by Brionne. She made or modified almost every piece of decor you see. She meticulously put every piece together for a cohesive look that she was very specific about. From the dresses to the tables, and all the little details in between…I’d say she nailed it!
I interviewed and photographed the progress on her many wedding projects in the blog post here, so imagine how exciting it was to finally see it all come together on the wedding day!?

Her dad John had tears in his eyes when he saw her…
I LOOOOOOOVE it when couples have unplugged weddings!!!
Brionne did an outrageous amount of work putting all these details together, including painting each centerpiece vase, chargers, hand stamping the burlap, and collecting things for the arrangements including dried and live flowers, feathers, and metallic accents (and that’s just for the tables!)
These paper flowers were hand-made by the Groom!
Brionne & Michael met at the Stampede and he danced his way into her heart…
A perfect ending to the most perfect day…
