Downtown Denver Wedding | Four Seasons Hotel

Find someone who looks at you the way Jimmy looked at Rebecca at their gorgeous downtown Denver wedding!

Rebecca posted on her Facebook page after their big day, “The best choice I have ever made was to marry you! I love you more than anything “Mr. James”, and I can only strive to make you as happy in life as you make me.”

Rebecca and Jimmy didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony (unless you count Rebecca seeing him from her room way down at the pool in his bright green trunks).  With trying to keep the bridal parties separated, it took some crafty communication on our end, but we pulled it off!  I took the girls over to the DCPA complex only a block away since the lighting in there was so pretty…we ran into another wedding (who incidentally was “in my spot”).  As it turned out, I knew the photographer, and Rebecca knew the Bride!  They exchanged congratulations and we began shooting the formal photos, just as a performance was letting out and 2500 people flooded the walkway where we were shooting!

Back to the Four Seasons we went, but not without stalling to take a few shots along the way.  Thankfully we did not run into the Groom and Groomsmen!

The Ceremony went off without a hitch, and then it was into family photos, bridal party, and a few creatives before dinner.  With only an hour to get all that in, I wasn’t worried, since I had planned on taking them out after the sun went down for some “night shots”.  The reception ran so smoothly with Chris of Elite DJ at the helm.  I gotta give it up for him…I don’t know if I’ve seen a more packed dance floor in recent time.  They were partying and having a BLAST!

Working with Brittany from Cloud 9 was a dream – she has such a lovely energy about her.  She is so smiley and has the sweetest personality…we LOVED working with her (it was our first time with her at a wedding!).

The Four Seasons was spectacular!  The Ballroom is gorgeous of course, but the lighting in there is dreamy.  The staff was not only incredibly attentive to their guests and clients, they took excellent care of “us vendors”.  It really shows (and is very much appreciated) when a venue goes the extra mile to make sure the vendors there working have everything they need with a smile (thanks Jean)!

Our time was coming to an end, so we stole Rebecca & Jimmy away for a few and went down to the street and shot along the way as we made our way back to the Ballroom to set them free to enjoy the rest of their night.  Enjoy some of our favorite images from this gorgeous downtown Denver wedding!
