Dani & Bobby’s Rocky Mountain wedding at Blackstone Rivers Ranch

Danielle & Bobby’s Rocky Mountain wedding had an element of magic to it…

From the reception decor, to the music, the super fun wedding party, and the overall setting of the venue itself, this was our favorite Rocky Mountain wedding of 2018!

The setting of Blackstone Rivers Ranch is amazing. Set in the canyon outside of Idaho Springs, a historical mining town, this venue has some of the coolest details! We love how they set it up and didn’t miss a beat when planning the decor – a modern rustic feel. The Bridal suite has the coolest textured wall paper with gold leaf! There is plenty of room for hair and makeup, and it’s kept separate from the Groomsmen suite in case the couple wants to wait to see each other.

The Groom’s suite has a gold pan for a basin in the bathroom, and old milk jug as a light fixture, and our favorite, a large elk skull and rack over the fireplace.

Our most favorite detail of all – the pick ax door handles on the barn doors throughout the venue!

The mis-matched Bridesmaids dresses looked gorgeous with their tones that matched the florals. How funny that they looked at Danielle, like “Daaaayuuum!”Bobby and the Groomsmen killed it in their portraits on the bridge – looking like gangsters in their three piece suits and pocket watches!

Bobby put together the music, and I was almost in tears when “Wildflowers” by Tom Petty began playing for the processional. The Mother-Son dance was to Paul Simon’s “Me & Julio Down by the Schoolyard”, and was anything buy typical!

Something Styled coordinated everything perfectly – the decor, the florals, and even the lounge set up was perfectly cohesive. Our favorite part was the VELVET linen on the ZIG-ZAG head table! The woodland theme matched the tones of the event and the setting beautifully. The succulents and old books with the moss were a lovely touch…

We were lucky enough to get to work with one of our favorite DJs, Chris from Elite Entertainment kept the party rockin’ and it was a blast seeing everyone boogie the night away!
